From Atlanta GA: Take US Hwy 85 N which turns
into Hwy 985 N, and then turns into Hwy 441 N to
Dillard GA. After passing through Dillard, you will
see a Chevron Station on the right or east side of
Hwy 441 and a Hwy 246 sign. Turn right onto GA Hwy
246 which turns into NC Hwy 106/Dillard Rd and
continue for approximately 7 miles to Scaly Mountain
NC. You will pass the “Scaly Mountain General Store”
and BP station on your left side and then
immediately on your right you will see two green
roofed buildings which comprise “Cabe Corner”: the Cabe Realty building first with the large green Cabe
sign out front and the US Post Office and “A Moment
in Time” photography studio in the second building.
From Highlands NC: Take Hwy 106 Southwest
approximately 7 miles to the Scaly Mountain
Community where on the left side you will see two
green roofed buildings which comprise “Cabe Corner.”
The first houses the US Post Office and “A Moment in
Time” photography studio, while the second contains
Cabe Realty and has a large green Cabe sign out
front.
From Franklin NC: Take Hwy 441 S to Dillard
GA and turn left onto GA Hwy 246 which turns into NC
Hwy 106/Dillard Rd and continue for approximately 7
miles to Scaly Mountain NC. You will pass the “Scaly
Mountain General Store” and BP station on your
left side and then immediately on your right you
will see two green roofed buildings which comprise
“Cabe Corner”: the Cabe Realty building first with
the large green Cabe sign out front and the US Post
Office and “A Moment in Time” photography studio in
the second building.
From Cashiers NC: At the Crossroads in
Cashiers NC take Hwy 64 West to Highlands. Take a
right turn at the 2nd stoplight and then a left at
the next stoplight onto NC Hwy 106 / Dillard Rd.
Follow Hwy 106 / Dillard Rd for approximately 7
miles to the Scaly Mountain community where on the
left side you will see two green roofed buildings
which comprise “Cabe Corner”: the first houses the
US Post Office and “A Moment in Time” photography
studio while the second contains Cabe Realty and has
a large green Cabe sign out Front. Note: If you pass
the “Scaly Mountain General Store” (BP station) on
the right – you have gone too far. |
